Where they go

The usual pairing is the small one on a desk and the large one on a shelf or a windowsill, so there is one in the room you work in and one in the room you sit in. Both have the same proportions; the large one has twelve times the stone.

What polished shungite looks like

A natural rock with pyrite flecks and thin quartz veins, so pale marks are normal and no two pyramids are identical. A pyramid with a perfectly uniform, inclusion-free surface is more likely resin than stone. Polished shungite takes fingerprints; a dry cloth takes them off.
