40 mm or 70 mm?
This is the small one — the most-bought shape in the shop, and the right size for a desk. The 70 mm large pyramid (€17,00) has twelve times the stone and belongs on a shelf. Both together in the Twin Pyramids set (€21,50) is €4,40 less than the pair bought apart.
What it looks like up close
Deep black with a low sheen and pale flecks where pyrite and quartz reach the surface — normal, and different on every piece. A perfectly uniform pyramid is more likely resin. It takes fingerprints; a dry cloth removes them. Lighter in the hand than it looks.
Real shungite conducts electricity: tap a phone screen with it and the screen responds as if to a fingertip. Resin and painted stone do nothing. The full test guide is here.
