Tumbled or raw?
Tumbled stones have been turned with abrasive until the edges round off and the carbon takes a low sheen. They leave nothing on your hands and look finished in a dish. Raw shungite is the same stone unworked — matte, dusty until rinsed, and the form used for water. For a pocket, a desk, a car or a windowsill, tumbled is the one to pick.
