Shungite Water Stones — 330 g Bag for a 3-Litre Jug
A 330 g bag of raw shungite pieces, sized for a standard 3-litre jug at the usual ratio of about 100 g of stone per litre. Real Karelian shungite, unpolished and unsealed.
What you get
- About 330 g of raw shungite pieces
- Enough for a 3-litre jug at 100 g per litre
- Type III shungite from the Zazhoginsky deposit, Karelia
How to prepare shungite water stones
Rinse first. Raw shungite carries a little carbon dust from being broken; run the stones under the tap until the water comes off clear, which takes a minute. Then put them in the jug, fill with water, and leave them. Rinse the stones again every couple of weeks. That is the whole routine.
Why raw and not polished
Raw pieces have their fracture faces intact, which gives them far more surface than a polished stone of the same weight. That is why this is the form used for water, and why the tumbled stones are sold for pockets and shelves instead.
More or less than 330 g
For a bigger dispenser, raw shungite by weight runs from 300 g to 2,1 kg in 100 g steps, and gets cheaper per 100 g the more you take.
Real shungite conducts electricity: tap a phone screen with it and the screen responds as if to a fingertip. Resin and painted stone do nothing. The full test guide is here.
Add stickers while you're here
They go in the same parcel and weigh nothing, so they cost you nothing extra to ship. One for the phone, one for the laptop, one for the router - most people wish they had taken more.
