Shungite Torus Pendant Necklace — Small

A small shungite torus pendant — a polished disc with a hole through the centre, hung on a cord. Real Karelian shungite, about 10 g, sits at the collarbone.

Why a torus

A disc with a central hole hangs flat against the chest instead of twisting on the cord, and the hole means no metal setting: the necklace is stone and cord and nothing else. It is polished on both faces and around the rim, so it is smooth against skin.

Small or large?

This is the small torus, about 10 g — discreet under a shirt, the one most people wear daily. The large torus pendant (€17,00) is 45 mm across and is the one to choose if the stone is meant to be seen. Same shungite in both; the large one simply has more of it.

Care

Fine to swim and shower in — shungite does not mind water. A dry cloth restores the polish if it dulls with wear.
